SOUNDTRACK is your one hour red carpet ride to the marvellous music of movies and television. Will give you the inside scoop on the songs, and feature the films and TV productions in which they were played – we’ll also catch up when we can to the songwriters, composers, producers, directors and music supervisors attached to the tunes and of course we’ll enjoy the songs themselves. As you might imagine with hundreds of thousands of TV shows and movies made over the years the scope for SOUNDTRACK is massive – so we’ll give each episode an area of focus and shine the spotlight on that. Today we’re featuring FALL films – those big pictures that come complete with the BIG AUTUMNAL BACKDROP. The ones when just hearing the title puts you in mind of leaf strewn streets and cozy sweaters. Now for the sake of full disclosure I LOVE FALL so squeezing the list down to a manageable amount took some doing – but just the fabulous foliage of fall provides a spectrum of colours – I’ve made it my mission to give you a great variety of movies and musical styles! We’ve got everything from Oscar winning instrumentals to all out disco dance tunes – cool swing classics to chart topping country, we’ve got some hall of fame hits and some truly new secret gems and all of them come complete with some fun fall film facts.
