Soundtrack – Rocky Road Trips

Soundtrack - Rocky Road Trips
Our ROCKY ROAD TRIPS edition features music from movies where the plot twists and turns come courtesy of back country roads and intertwining interstates.

SOUNDTRACK is your one hour red carpet ride to the marvellous music of movies and television. We’ll give you the inside scoop on the songs, and feature the films and TV productions in which they were played – we’ll also where we can – share the background on the songwriters, composers, producers, directors and music supervisors attached to the tunes and of course we’ll enjoy the songs themselves. Now – As you might imagine with the hundreds of thousands of TV shows and movies made over the years the scope for SOUNDTRACK is massive – so we’ll give each episode an area of focus and shine the spotlight on that and in this show we are hitting the highway as our cinematic attention turns to the ROAD TRIP. Indeed we’ll be featuring films where the plots twists and turns come courtesy of winding back country roads to intertwining interstates. And just as our drivers will run the gamut from bandits to beauty queens, Hollywood hopefuls to extra terrestrials – our stellar selection of soundtrack tunes is just as wide and wonderful – with everything from pop and country hits to Grammy winning classics, Oscar nominated originals to rock n roll chart toppers. We should worn you though – none of our travellers has an easy go of it – but what’s any great story without a little conflict – so grab your popcorn and buckle up for what’s sure to be super sonic ride on this Rocky Road Trips edition of our show.
