Jeremy Webb on SEA AND BE SCENE And HEARD

Broadcast Date – February 28, 2024

Our chats will be just that very conversational, not entirely sensible and with any luck totally enjoyable – and what a delight is was catching up to today’s guest. Not only because he’s a mega-award winning actor, writer and director – he’s also the much celebrated Artist Director of Nova Scotia’s own, world-renowned Neptune Theatre. Having just announced their EXTRAORDINARY LINE UP FOR THE 2024/25 SEASON which includes something for everyone – from the dramatic and moving to marvellously musical and sidesplittingly hilarious – so we’ll get the run down on all of that and so much more. Including all the work that goes on behind the scenes to ensure they can keep on delivering the exceptional entertainment we’ve come to expect for the last 60 plus years. We’ll also discover how he managed to get two LORD OF THE RINGS stars from Middle Earth to his main stage, and after performing in everything from “Great Expectations” to “Macbeth,” “The Producers” to his very own version of Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” – which play ranks right up there as one of his favourites. Plus, we’ll get to 1st Things First, play a very enlightening round of INsights IN 10 and spin some of his favourite show tunes while we’re at it. So with all that ahead we best get too it. Here’s my telephone conversation with the one and only Jeremy Webb.
