Soundtrack – Special Salute to the Oscars 2025

Soundtrack Salute to the 2025 Oscars

Broadcast Date – February 26, 2025

SOUNDTRACK is your one hour red carpet ride through the marvellous music of movies and television. We’ll give you the inside scoop on the songs, and feature the films and TV productions in which they were played – we’ll also where we can share the background on the songwriters, composers, producers, directors and music supervisors attached to the tunes and of course we’ll enjoy the songs themselves. And as you might imagine with hundreds of thousands of TV shows and movies made over the years, the scope for SOUNDTRACK is massive – so we’ll give each episode an area of focus and shine the spotlight on that. And as that most awesome time of the year known as AWARD SEASON draws to a close I’ve invited The Sidekick to jump into the co-host seat for our annual Special Salute to the Oscars 2025. We’ll use all the most amazing tracks from this year’s fantastic films – from original songs to heart-pounding scores to perfectly placed needle drops. Using our printable one pager – we’ll declare who we want to win and who we think will win when the 97th Annual Academy Awards are broadcast Sunday, March 2nd at 8 pm AST on ABC/Hulu.
