SOUNDTRACK is your one hour red carpet ride to the marvellous music of movies and television. We’ll give you the inside scoop on the songs, and feature the films and TV productions in which they were played – we’ll also where we can share the background on the songwriters, composers, producers, directors and music supervisors attached to the tunes and of course we’ll enjoy the songs themselves. Now – As you might imagine with the hundreds of thousands of TV shows and movies made over the years the scope for SOUNDTRACK is massive – so we’ll give each episode an area of focus and shine the spotlight on that and today we’re all about DYNAMIC DUETS. Those remarkable songs where one voice was not enough – where harmonies reign supreme and chemistry was king! Some of today’s tunes were sung by the stars themselves, while others were placed in the production to punctuate the emotion – some would carve an iconic place in music history living long after their on screen start, while others would go on to be covered countless times – we’ve got Oscar-winning history makers, chart topping industry shakers and songs that will forever be attached to the singers themselves.
