These interviews were recorded during EAST COAST MUSIC WEEK 2018 in Halifax Nova Scotia.

First up my interview with the President & CEO of CARAS/The JUNO Awards & MusiCounts Mr. ALLAN REID – he also happens to be Kim Stockwood’s husband and while I have run into him at the CCMA’s and ECMA’s before I’ve never had the chance to catch him for a chat with him on air. I found him waiting for a colleague in the Marriott Hotel’s lobby restaurant – it’s not often you’re invited for a sit down with the President and CEO of The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences – but that didn’t stop me and fortunately for Mr. Reid was a really sweet sport!

I also have a great conversation with DAVID HAYMAN – The Creative Director and Lead Music Supervisor at THE SUPERGROUP! A Toronto-based company of vastly experienced and award-winning, Music Supervisors, Song Curators and Music Industry Insiders, who have experience in advertising, film, television, Virtual reality and Integrated Branded Content Global Advertising Campaigns. As a BIG fan of his Music Supercast podcast, I was totally thrilled to hear Mr.Hayman was heading to Halifax to speak at this year’s ECMA’s and over the moon when he agreed to sit down for chat.
