SEA AND BE SCENE... And HEARD Watch & Listen

Chris Ryan

chris ryan on SEA AND BE SCENE and HEARD

Broadcast Date August 28, 2019

Our chats will be just that very conversational, not entirely sensible and with any luck totally enjoyable… And it was all that and more this past weekend when I not only had the chance to sit down with today’s guest but I had the great pleasure of introducing him at the Mahone Bay’s Sunday Bandstand Concert series. COVE FM is one of the event sponsors so when I heard my pal Chris Ryan was coming to play I happily volunteered to MC the show which is one of many stops for the Newfoundland-born singer-songwriter on his Atlantic Canadian tour. A tour during which he’ll also squeeze in recording time to work on his forthcoming CD at the Lawrencetown studios of the award-winning producer Chris Kirby. So we’ll talk about all that and so much more including his side gig playing lead guitar, his appreciation for the craft of songwriting and his the inspiration behind some of his new music – plus we’ll play an overdue round of First Things First and for the first time ever-  our first audio version the SEA AND BE SCENE staple feature – the COOL PEOPLE PROFILE and naturally we’ll play as much of his marvelous music as we can throughout the hours – so without further ado here’s my conversation with the one and only CHRIS RYAN.
