As I always say “Our chats will be just that very conversational, not entirely sensible and with any luck totally enjoyable”… and in the case of today’s guest truly educational –’infotainment’ as the kids call it – which makes perfect sense as I sat down with Peter Cullen the Executive Director of the Ross Farm Museum in New Ross, Nova Scotia. If you’ve never been you should know Ross Farm is a living, working, farm museum depicting over 150 years of agriculture in Nova Scotia – with so many things to see and do for the whole family to enjoy – it’s a true adventure in rural history. Sadly – like so many attractions around the world – their big 2020 summer season postponed – a season that also marks Ross Farm Museum’s 50th Anniversary, so we’ll talk about that set back and how they’ve modified the visitor experience in lieu of the pandemic. We’ll also get the inside scoop on what they’ve been up to while they’ve been closed to the public and hear about the truly modern way in which folks can pick up a little something at the very old fashioned farm. And of course we’ll get to know a little bit more about the Executive Director himself including an enlightening round of FIRST THINGS FIRST and spin some of his favourite tunes too. So with all that ahead – we best get to it. Here’s my conversation with Ross Farm Museum’s own Peter Cullen.
