He’s a singer, a songwriter, a musician and now… he’s a host to boot!
Prince Edward Island’s own Dylan Menzie has just launched the LOST IN DREAMS a podcast which he assures us is – at its heart – about Canadian artists, their craft and their process.
“I believe that using the topic of dreams (both had while sleeping or more literal life goals) as a jumping off point sparks extremely interesting and meaningful conversations that give listeners a deeper appreciation and understanding for the artists themselves, as well as their creative work,“ Menzie explains.

The LOST IN DREAMS podcast is set to include 10 weekly episodes – the first 3 of which are available now for your listening pleasure and feature funny guy and fellow Islander Jonathan Torrens (Mr.D, Trailer Park Boys), Emmy and Gemini Award Winner Cheryl Wagner (Fraggle Rock, Mr. Dressup, The Big Comfy Couch), and photographer Patricia Bourque (Behind The Regalia).
Now, if you’re thinking that title seems awfully familiar… LOST IN DREAMS was also the title of Dylan sophomore, which was project produced by Romesh Thavanathan (Hey Rosetta!) and released just this past spring. We love this video for the title track performed by Mr. Menzie and the Daydream Orchestra at the at Confederation Centre of the Arts in his hometown of Charlottetown, PEI.
Dylan is one of Atlantic Canada’s most compelling and in-demand talents, picking up recent nominations in major categories at both the Canadian Folk Music Awards and East Coast Music Awards. He has also featured on CBC Radio 2’s Top 20 and performed alongside artists like City and Colour and Ron Sexsmith.
