Craig Olejnik on SEA AND BE SCENE and HEARD 2021

Broadcast Date: Wednesday, March 3, 2021

Our chats will be just that very conversational, not entirely sensible and with any luck totally enjoyable...Believe me when I say I have so enjoyed celebrating this gentleman’s career over the years. From his many guest-starring roles on shows like CBC’s REPUBLIC OF DOYLE and MURDOCH MYSTERIES and SYFY’s smash HAVEN, we loved him in the romantic made-for-TV movie CHRISTMAS TRUCE and most especially for his five-season run as the star of CTV’s award-winning drama THE LISTENER. In fact, our last on-camera interview was on the set of the Toronto-based series back in 2014 – so yes we’re well overdue for a catch-up and our timing couldn’t be better as the Nova Scotia-born actor, writer, director and producer is getting set to helm his very first feature film. So we’ll be sure to get the scoop on that and so much more – including how the East Coast guy enjoys life on the West Coast, where in the world he met his wonderful wife and how playing Toby Logan meant the world to him. We’ll also get to 1st Things First, play a truly enlightening round of More of Less and spin some of his favourite tunes along the way – so with all that ahead we best get to it. Here’s my telephone conversation with the one and only Craig Olejnik (you’ll find the player below the show notes).
