Mo Kenney on SEA AND BE SCENE and HEARD 2022

Broadcast Date – February 16, 2022

“Our chats will be just that very conversational, not entirely sensible and with any luck totally enjoyable.”

And oh my goodness was that the case catching up with today’s guest.  It sure has been a while since we first met up for an on-camera chat during East Coast Music Week in St.John’s back in 2015, but in all the years since I’ve certainly enjoyed listening to their wonderful stream of super cool tunes and reporting on their live shows, and the awards and honours they’ve received along the way. So indeed we’ve got some ground to cover and just in the nick of time as they’re just days away from a trip to Kansas City to kick off a 36-date world-tour – opening up for Canadian Super Group Crash Test Dummies. And you better believe after 2 years of lockdown we’ll talk about that and so much more including their brand new single “With You” and their longstanding friendship with Joel Plaskett. Plus we’ll discover where they stand on music videos, how they landed on their first big screen role, get to First Things First, play a fun round of INsights IN10 and spin as much of their amazing music as we can within the hour. So with all that ahead we best get to it – here’s my telephone conversation with the one and only Mo Kenney.
