Broadcast Date – April 4, 2018
From May 2 – 6 2018 Halifax, Nova Scotia will be the place to be as stellar artists and industry folk gather to salute the best of the best on the Atlantic Canadian Music Scene and celebrate the 30th Annual East Coast Music Week. Every genre will be showcased – from the star-studded award show to the intimate songwriters’ circle – and every performance in between. It’s going to be 5 days jam-packed with everything from killer concerts, to one on one workshops, to meet and greet fan events and to make sure we get the full scoop on all the goings on – our guest today is the Executive Director of the east coast music association Andy McLean. We’re less than a month away so needless to say the man is beyond busy – so we headed to his bustling Halifax office for our chat and to play some nominated tunes too. Here’s my conversation with ECMA Executive Director – Andy McLean!
