It’s always awesome catching up with Nova Scotia-born filmmaker Michael Melski –and we did just that at one of his favourite spots to grab a coffee and get business down – the bustling HUMANI-TEA near the HydroStone in Halifax. The award-winning writer and director of stage and screen is always up to something creative, and so in celebration of his most recent and most awarded film to date the truly creepy horror THE CHILD REMAINS – I thought Mr.Melski would make for the perfect guest for our HALLOWEEN EDITION OF SEA AND BE SCENE AND HEARD. We’ll get the inside scoop on his edge-of-your-seat feature, and Michael will give his recommendations for Halloween Scary Movie must-sees. We’ll also talk about his growing up on Cape Breton Island his first feature GROWING OP and his other films too, plus we’ll play a fun round of first things first, and chat about so much more! With all that ahead I say let’s get to it – here’s my conversation with the one and only Micheal Melski!
