Lobster Crawl Special

2019 Lobster Crawl Special on SEA AND BE SCENE and HEARD

Broadcast Date January 30, 2019

When it comes to today’s topic of discussion – well it’s downright delicious – you see it’s LOBSTER SEASON on the South Shore and that sure is cause for celebration – the 2nd Annual Lobster Crawl gets underway February 1st and runs through the 18th – an initiative of the South Shore Tourism Cooperative with the aim of shining the spotlight on all there is to see and do, to sip and savour, to experience and enjoy along the south shore – during the winter! Indeed we are open for business and all kinds of lobster lovin’ pleasure – and who better to give us the lowdown on all things lobster crawl than the South Shore Tourism Cooperative’s Marketing Coordinator Stephanie Swain. Now for the sake of full transparency – in addition to keeping all things SEA AND BE SCENE on the go I get the great pleasure of leading the tourism team for the Municipality of Chester and with that gladly take a seat on the board of the South Shore Tourism Cooperative so I know first hand how much work goes on behind the scenes to pull together the 18-day festival and I’m here to say Stephanie’s efforts are stellar and with her finger on the pulse of the over 100 features and events of LOBSTER CRAWL, there’s nobody better to give us the inside scoop. Here’s my conversation with the South Shore Tourism Cooperative’s Stephanie Swain
