kellie loder on SEA AND BE SCENE and HEARD

Broadcast Date February 6, 2019

It sure was a treat to finally connect with an artist that’s been on our radar for a good number of years now – between her JUNO Nomination and her MUSIC NL Award there’s no doubt her talents have been celebrated on the national scene and in her homeland too, but just last month something happened that has placed Badger, Newfoundland native Kellie Loder on the international stage in a very BIG way – IMAX BIG in fact… as the singer/songwriter’s tune “Fearless” serves as the soundtrack for the forthcoming IMAX feature SUPERPOWER DOGS. So naturally, we’ll talk about that exciting new project and so much more – including her process for songwriting, her love of performing live and that one time she went skydiving, plus we’ll play 1st Things First, and a fun round of Insights IN 10 and of course – we’ll squeeze in as much of her marvelous music as we can over the next hour. So with all that ahead, I say let’s get to it! Here’s my conversation with the one and only Kellie Loder…
