What a treat it was to sit down for a chat with today’s guest. As the Marketing and Product Development Manager at Nova Scotia’s world-renowned White Point Beach Resort, she’s constantly developing fresh and creative ways to stay and experience their historic property. And if that weren’t enough to keep her busy she also brings her award-winning experience to her position as President for the South Shore Tourism Cooperative… a group of innovative volunteers that banned together back in 2012 to work collaboratively in an effort to market the South Shore of Nova Scotia, as a tourist destination to the world – the first of its kind in the province – and one that’s been realizing greater and great potential with each passing year. So we’ll talk about those successes and so much more – including all the exciting plans in the works for the year ahead. Plus we’ll get the inside scoop on what it takes to promote a year-round destination, get some tips on how to be a great guest while on vacation, and play a fun round of 1st Things First. So without further ado – here’s my conversation with the one and only Donna Hatt.
