Ian Foster on SEA AND BE SCENE and HEARD

Broadcast Date: November 20, 2019

Our chats will be just that very conversational, not entirely sensible and with any luck totally enjoyable…

And with today’s guest it was all that and then some – and it’s funny for all the years we’ve featured his award winning projects and productions, his live shows and homeland favourites – it’s the first time I’ve actually had the chance to talk with St.John’s, NL native Ian Foster. For sure that’s a name you’ve heard on this show before having produced music for plenty of East Coast Folks – but today we’re catching up with the man himself and at the perfect time too – with just days to go before he and his partner Nancy Hynes hit the road for their 2nd annual Christmas Tour in support of their first album as a duo A WEEK IN DECEMBER. So we’ll talk about that and so much more – including his approach to production, his take on destiny and his new kitten Evelyn, we’ll even get to first things first and of course squeeze as much of their merry music as we can within the hour – so without further ado here’s my conversation with the one and only – Ian Foster.
