It’s always the finest kind of time when we get a chance to chat with today’s guest – and even more so when we can see him play live. To be sure Nova Scotia’s own mega award winning singer/songwriter, producer and musician Dave Gunning has given us plenty to celebrate over the years – a steady stream of stellar work followed by a whole heap of hardware and it looks like his just released project “UP AGAINST THE SKY” is poised to do the same – having just scored 4 Canadian Folk Music Award Nominations. So we’ll talk about that and so much more – including his great love of the homeland and his international ties. We’ll talk about his process for songwriting, his awesome ability for story telling and his marvelous manager Shelley Nordstrom. We’ll also talk about his long time friendship with J.P. Cormier and their brand new Christmas Tour set to hit the road any day now.
