I always say our chats will be just that very conversational, not entirely sensible and with any luck totally enjoyable. Well, this one sure was that – and then some! After being a fan of the man for a long long time I was over the moon when I had the chance to connect with mega-award-winning, singer-songwriter supreme Ron Sexsmith. Having just released a brand new and beautiful project entitled HERMITAGE there was plenty to celebrate. Of course, when you finally get the chance to chat with someone you’ve admired for so long – you’d want to make the most of the opportunity – and so we talked about everything – from his process for songwriting to his life on lockdown, from his new place in Stratford to his old school ways. We’ll talk about his funny time on Twitter, his take on the future of touring and how it feels to have his music in movies. Plus we’ll do a little 1st Things First, get some INsights in 10 and play as many of his stellar songs as we can squeeze in throughout the hour. Please enjoy my telephone conversation with the one and only Ron Sexsmith!
