Our chats will be just that very conversational, not entirely sensible and with any luck totally enjoyable… And without question, all of my interviews with today’s guest have been completely joy-filled! Albeit under very different circumstances – usually, they’ve been on the red carpet or at a post-screening soiree or the like, but always amidst the masses of movie makers, industry shakers and film fans from around the world who descend on the city of Halifax for the much beloved FIN Atlantic International Film Festival. And who knew when they screened the festival finale with eyes fixed fantastically on FIN 40 that 2020 would turn the world so completely out of focus? Fortunately, Executive Director Wayne Carter formed a perfect plan and together with his team have once again curated a completely entertaining 8-day offering they’ve branded FIN Stream running online from September 17th through to the 24th – so we’ll get the scoop on this virtual offering and so much more including the entertaining ways in which they’ll enhance the viewing, the amazing roster of films in the schedule and of course their impeccable attention to Atlantic Canadian productions. We’ll also talk about the efforts in place to continue fostering international partnerships and play some stellar soundtrack music too. So with all that ahead we best get to it – here’s my conversation with the one and only Mr.Wayne Carter. (you’ll find the player at the bottom of the post)
