Our chats will be just that very conversational not entirely sensible and with any luck totally enjoyable… that’s always the case when I connect with today’s guest. Truth be told, our interviews have become a cherished annual tradition and rightly so since he’s the Executive Director of FIN ATLANTIC INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL. Oh, sure we’ve shared many marvellous moments amidst movie stars and industry players – back in the days when film fans from all over the world hunkered down in Halifax to celebrate cinema every September. Of course, that was all pre-covid but even back in 2020 – when the whole world was shutting down the fine folks at FIN knew the show must go on. So they moved their celebration online with #FINstream and it was fantastic. But here we are – a year later and just a couple of weeks from FIN 2021 and while the circumstances surrounding cinema-going present an ever-changing set of challenges the FIN team has come up with a wonderful way to take it all in – so we’ll talk about that and so much more – including the stellar line up of pictures set to screen, from the features and shorts shot right here at home and the award-winning films from all around the world. Plus we’ll talk about how FIN PARTNERS plans to foster future productions during this year’s festival.
