After a summer’s worth of production here on Nova Scotia’s South Shore – Season 4 of THE SINNER is set to premiere on October 13th. With home bases in Chester and Lunenburg, we can’t wait to see all those breathtaking backdrops – and of course, all that bone-chilling drama we’ve grown to expect from the dramatic crime series.
Bill Pullman returns to his leading role of Detective Harry Ambrose who finds himself investigating a mysterious death in a fishing town. for this fourth installment of the anthology series. Season 4’s synopsis is as follows…
“Still reeling from the trauma of a previous case a year ago, the now-retired Harry Ambrose travels to Hanover Island in northern Maine for a recuperative getaway with his partner, Sonya (Jessica Hecht). When an unexpected tragedy occurs involving the daughter of a prominent island family, Ambrose is recruited to help the investigation, only to be thrown into a mystery of mounting paranoia that will turn this sleepy tourist island, and Ambrose’s life, upside down.”
Alice Kremelberg stars as the mysterious Percy Muldoon and award-winning actress Frances Fisher stars as her distraught grandmother Meg. Cool to read in the cast notes on the show’s official site that Frances spent some of her formative years here in Nova Scotia. Neal Huff, Cindy Cheung, Ronin Wong and Michael Mosley round out the primary cast. You can find out more about all of them here.
Season 4 of THE SINNER will premiere on USA Network in the States and on Showcase here in Canada. Click on the station for broadcast times in your area. No word on when we can expect this new season to start streaming on Netflix but we’ll keep you posted on that front for sure.
