Our chats will be just that very conversational, not entirely sensible and with any luck totally enjoyable… and it sure was all that and then some connecting with today’s guest. And while he hails from right here in the Hubbards area he’s been hanging his hat in Toronto for a good long while guest starring on a long list of incredible TV shows including Hudson & Rex, Republic of Doyle, Rookie Blue, Covert Affairs, Suits, the masterpiece of a mini-series The Comey Rule and the Emmy-Award-Winning Handmaids Tale, he’s enjoyed roles on the big screen too – including The Corridor, The Conspiracy and in the forthcoming feature film Dada. Right now though folks are loving his turn as Terry Gallagher on Sheri Elwood’s hit dramedy series for CBC Moonshine which as luck would have it – shoots right here in his hometown – so we’ll talk about all that and so much more. Including the real scoop behind his ‘Executive Producer’ credit, the three really important qualities of a working actor, and how he really feels about having CoveFM‘s own Trip Hazzard for a father. We’ll also get to first things first, play a fun round of insights in 10 and even spin a couple of his favourite tunes while we’re at it. So with all that ahead we best get to it. Here’s my telephone conversation with the one and only Jim Gilbert.
