CELEBRATING CHRISTMAS BACK IN 2017

This year Stephanie Beaumont and The Sidekick are celebrating the SEAson big time! That means they’re in the workshop creating up a storm – with this year’s theme SEAing Stars. This segment features a fun Kids Table Decor complete with a centre piece and other fun ideas for keeping the SEAson star-filled and festive! WATCH how simple it is to make and create one for yourself this Christmas!

It may seem a little loopy to use a Christmas wreath as the anchor for your centrepiece but we couldn’t resist. Its donut shape allows for anything to be placed in the opening. Lucky for us we had a perfectly size vase, but it could easily be pillar candles at all different heights or even a cake stand stacked with cookies. There really are so many ways to make it work.

As much as we’d like to take credit for the entire table… we’ve gotta send a shout-out to our cousin-in-law, sweet Rosie Nauss. Rosie gave The Sidekick this bright and sparkly ornament wreath a few Christmas’ ago. So while we had this beautiful jumping off point for our centrepiece, you can make a fun and colourful wreath just like it for yourself by following the easy DIY directions from Megan at TheHomesIHaveMade.com

Kids Table Decor filling food colouring candles

Another splash of colour came courtesy of The Sidekick who some blue food colouring to the water, and following a good stir the tea light candles were ‘gingerly’ placed in the water. Be sure to leave them in the their tin cups as this ensures their buoyancy. As mentioned in the video – the deeper the tea light the longer they’ll burn. It’s such a lovely glow and perfect for a festive evening gathering. We always want you to be careful though – so please don’t leave lit candles unattended.
