Our chats will be just that – very conversational, not entirely sensible and with any luck totally enjoyable. Truly the case with today’s guest whose incredible talents and stellar achievements have made way for many an on-camera interview and fantastic features on SEA AND BE SCENE over the years. From his songwriting and touring as a solo artist and with his bands to his fantastic family fiddle festival to his willingness to play along with my game show antics and crazy rapid fire rounds to the constant creativity and steady stream of accolades and awards – he is without question the finest kind of fella to feature. But it’s been a minute since our last official chat and true to form there’s a boat load of ground to cover – including the fact that his band The East Pointers just racked up the most nominations for this year’s East Coast Music Awards. So we’ll talk about that and so much more including his awesome online fiddle school – The Tune Room and what it means to continue his grandfather’s legacy with the Rollo Bay Fiddle Festival. We’ll also talk about his favourite folks to work with and listen to and learn how he continue to create with and be inspired by his dear friend, sweet cousin and collaborator – the late great Koady Chaisson. Plus we’ll get to 1st THINGS FIRST, find out was he’s most proud of and spin as much of marvellous music as we can within the hour. So with all that ahead we best get to it. Here’s my telephone conversation with the one and only Tim Chaisson. (you’ll find the player at the bottom of the post)
