Our chats will be just that very conversational, not entirely sensible and with any luck totally enjoyable. Now I don’t know about you, but I’m thrilled that Spring is finally here! To see the buds on the trees and have those temperatures climb – it does a winter weary heart good, I’ll tell you. So you have to know what a treat it was to travel up Highway 12, just a little ways past our pals at Ross Farm Museum, to visit the tremendous team at Foraged Florals. It was, as the website promises, a woodland oasis and I don’t mind saying being immersed in all that nature made for an oh-so-inspiring hour. So naturally we’ll get some sensational tips on what it takes to get growing and so much more! Including the principles that guide being a permaculture gardener and how listening to the earth can ensure we all flourish. We also get the scoop on how their Community Supported Agriculture subscription can bring eco-friendly floral designs into your home and discover how their wonderful woodland wedding venue incorporates the most sensational flowers of the season. Plus. we’ll play a fun new game called WHO’S FIRST, enjoy an enlightening round of INsights IN 10 and even spin a couple of their favourite tunes while we’re at it – so with all that ahead, we best get to it. Here’s my sit-down conversation with Foraged Florals own Carol Millett and Susan Larder.
