Soundtrack – Title Tracks

Soundtrack - Title Tracks
TITLE TRACKS - those tunes that perfectly provide movie goers with the meaning of the film or give TV audiences a musical series synopsis.

SOUNDTRACK is your one hour red carpet ride to the marvellous music of movies and television. Will give you the inside scoop on the songs, and feature the films and TV productions in which they were played – we’ll also catch up when we can to the songwriters, composers, producers, directors and music supervisors attached to the tunes and of course we’ll enjoy the songs themselves. Now, as you might imagine with hundreds of thousands of TV shows and movies made over the years the scope for SOUNDTRACK is massive – so we’ll give each episode an area of focus and shine the spotlight on that and today it’s all about the TITLE TRACK. Those tunes that perfectly provide movie goers with the meaning of the film or give TV audiences a musical series synopsis. In many cases they are sung by the stars of the production – a few of which have gone on to be considered their signature song. We’ve got everything from country crossover hits to rap classics, Oscar nominated anthems to record setting ballads. Indeed it’s a truly wide and wonderful assortment of songs that span over 60 years of TV and motion picture history.
