Our chats will be just that very conversational, not entirely sensible and with any luck totally enjoyable… And how lovely it was to sit down for a great gab with this delightful duo. After nearly four years since our first interview, we were definitely due. So I knew when we caught up before soundcheck on the Chester, Nova Scotia stop of their recent Maritime Tour we had plenty of ground to cover including the talented team of fantastic folks who contributed to their latest amazing project CAN’T HOLD THE LIGHT. We’ll also talk about how they weathered the global shutdown, how they dealt with all the delays and how wonderful it feels to be back out in front of a live audience. Plus we’ll play a new game called Best, Most and Favourite, discover how incredible these two are at keeping secrets, send a tasty shout-out to Charlie A’Court and spin as much of their marvellous music as we can within the hour. So with all that ahead we best get to it β here’s my conversation with the one and only Kirsten Roden Clarke and Jordan Coaker of Quote the Raven.
